Last week (19th-23th September), Eureka Street Furniture partnered with mattress manufacturer Sleepeezee to run a competition on Brisbane's 97.3fm for listeners to win a Posture Care Queen Ensemble Set. There were five to give a way to five lucky listeners. The listeners had to call in and tell Robin, Terry and Bob "what is the strangest thing that has gone bump in the night at your place."

Eureka Street Furniture Backs Flood Appeal

Queensland family owned and operated furniture retailer, Eureka Street Furniture, announced today that it has donated $20 000 to the Premier’s Disaster Relief Appeal with further donations to follow.  The retailer is also an authorised promoter to collect on behalf of the appeal and will be doing so at all of its 15 showrooms across Queensland and Northern New South Wales.  Eureka Street Furniture’s spokeswoman and Olympic gold medallist Giaan Rooney further announced that a percentage of all profits generated from sales in the coming weeks will be donated to the appeal. 

Giaan Rooney expressed that, “Eureka Street Furniture has been a part of Queensland homes for the last 24 years and seeing the devastation caused by recent floods and the effect on which it has had on Queensland families is absolutely heart wrenching.” Sales and Marketing Manager at Eureka, Daniel Brisblat explained that, “Donating is a small way in which Eureka can give back to the communities of Queensland who have supported us for the last 24 years.”  “Our heartfelt thoughts are with all those who have been affected by this terrible disaster.”  Eureka is also putting together a special offer for flood affected victims that includes take home lay- by and larger discounts for households affected by flood water.  Donations can be made at any Eureka showroom, for your nearest location please visit www.eurekastreetfurniture.com.au.

Giaan Rooney Dives Into Eureka Street Furniture

Queensland’s own, Eureka Street Furniture, proudly announces swimming super star and television personality Giaan Rooney to the team. Former Olympic gold medalist turned television presenter has joined the family owned Queensland furniture retailer. Rooney will become the face of Eureka Street furniture as the company’s growth witnessed the opening of the new Gladstone store in late March. The Queensland owned and operated company now has 13 retail stores across Queensland and New South Wales employing 60 staff in total.
